It doesn’t matter if you’re a veteran coder or have no technical experience, we’re always looking for awesome volunteers to help out at their local Dojo!

Coder DoJo is a global network of free, volunteer-led, community-based programming clubs for young people. Anyone aged seven to seventeen can visit a Dojo where they can learn to code, build a website, create an app or a game, and explore technology in an informal, creative, and social environment.

Volunteers Information. We’re continuing the momentum from the summer sessions and offering more open project work sessions. Like the summer, we’ll also try to incorporate “mini tutorials” at the start of every session to help new kids get acclimated to the Dojo, give them some project direction, and jump-start their creativity!

We’re encouraging parents and kids to brainstorm and come prepared with potential project ideas or programming languages of interest. CoderDojo Sushi Cards are a great starting point if you need some inspiration!

If you have any questions or want to brainstorm project ideas with the community, find us on Slack! (You can request an invitation to our Slack team here:
